Fish Factory Production Operative
We are recruiting reliable Production Operatives to join our busy fish processing team. This is physically active, fast-paced work on a production line. Previous production experience is beneficial but not essential - full training will be provided.
Pay & Hours
- Rate: £12.71 per hour
- Shift patterns: Variety of shifts, 8-12 hour shifts, Monday-Friday
- Overtime may be available depending on operational needs
Key Duties
- Working on fast-paced production lines
- Packing, weighing and labelling finished products
- Sealing and final product checking for quality and presentation
- General manual labour tasks to support production
- Maintaining cleanliness and adhering to hygiene standards

Environment & Physical Requirements
- This role operates in a cold and wet environment typical of fish production. You must dress suitably for these conditions (warm, waterproof layers are recommended). PPE will be provided.
- The role involves standing for long periods, manual handling and repetitive tasks. A reasonable level of physical fitness is required.
Requirements
- No formal qualifications required
- Production experience advantageous but not essential
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable, punctual and able to work in a team
