Crynodeb
Masstemps Ltd are currently recruiting on behalf of a client for a full-time Low Pressure Die Caster to join a busy and expanding company based in the Wednesbury area.
Responsibilities and duties include:
• Monitor machine functions to ensure consistent casting quality.
• Set up and operate low pressure die casting equipment.
• Preheat, coat, and assemble moulds before casting.
• Change and maintain moulds as required.
• Control molten aluminium flow into the die using low-pressure systems.
• Ensure correct temperature and pressure settings.
• Visually inspect cast parts for defects like porosity, cracks, or incomplete fills.
• Use measuring tools (e.g. callipers, micrometres) for dimensional checks.
• Remove excess material or flash from cast parts using tools or machines.
• Prepare parts for further processing or dispatch.
• Perform basic machine maintenance.
Hours of Work
Monday to Thursday
05:30am - 16:00pm
Pay Rate
£12.71ph - £16ph dependant on experience
