Summary
Masstemps Ltd are currently recruiting on behalf of a client for a full-time temp to perm Press Tool Maker to join a busy and expanding company based in the West Bromwich area.
Duties and responsibilities inlude:
. Design, manufacture, and maintain press tools, jigs, fixtures, and forming dies used in sheet metal bending and pressing operations.
. Set up and operate conventional and CNC machine tools including milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, and EDM equipment to produce tooling components to tight tolerances.
. Read and interpret engineering drawings, tool designs, and 2D/3D CAD models to manufacture tooling accurately from scratch or to modification.
. Trial, prove out, and validate new tooling on press brakes and folding machines, making adjustments to achieve correct part geometry and bend angles.
. Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on existing press tools and forming tooling, including regrinding, repair, and modification to extend tool life.

07:30am – 16:30pm
PAY RATE
£14.00ph - £16.00ph
