Summary
Masstemps Ltd are currently recruiting on behalf of a client for a full-time temp to perm Tool Room Machinist to join a busy and expanding company based in the Wednesbury area.
Responsibilities for the day to day include…
. Set up and operate conventional manual milling machines to produce components to precise tolerances and specifications.
. Set up, programme, and operate CNC milling machines (XYZ 3-axis) including tooling selection, work-holding setup and offset management.
. Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical blueprints, and GD&T documentation to manufacture components to customer requirements.
. Machine light steel and other ferrous/non-ferrous components to tight dimensional tolerances using appropriate cutting speeds, feeds, and tooling.
. Apply trigonometry and geometric calculations to establish datum points, calculate angular positions, and resolve complex machining problems.

Monday to Friday
07:30am – 16:30pm
PAY RATE
£14.00ph - £17.00ph (Dependant on expereince)
