Are you an analyst looking to use your skills to deliver high quality data visualisations and insights to support strategic decision making?

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a planning professional to make an impact in a new role within the Strategy, Planning and Analytics Service at the University of Plymouth. The Strategy, Planning and Analytics Service supports strategy development and delivery by managing strategic projects, delivering the planning process and providing data and insights to customers across the University.

You will:

• Be responsible for delivering effective management information to support decision making across the University
• Be responsible for producing high quality dashboards on a range of strategic datasets.
• Provide a high quality market insights data to support new programme development and undertake a range of projects from digitising the University’s risk process to more detailed bespoke analysis on specific issues.

For this role, you will need to be on site 3 days a week. Although we can accommodate working from home for this role, flexibility to be on-site will be expected due to business needs.

What we’re looking for

An experienced analyst, you will be confident in transforming data into evidence and insights. You will have experience working with a range of Higher Education datasets and you will have experience designing and delivering dashboards that are intuitive for customers to use to inform strategic decision making.

To be successful in this role, you will work collaboratively with stakeholders building effective relationships to ensure that the team are a trusted source of advice and support across the University and will role model openness to feedback and a commitment to continuous improvement.
