If so, our client in Cheshire West and Chester, Cheshire West and Chester has an exciting opportunity for you to join their team as the Principle of our vibrant Independent SEN School.

In this pivotal role, you will be the driving force behind our school's mission to provide an exceptional, tailored education for students with a wide range of special educational needs. From creating a nurturing, inclusive environment to leading a dedicated team of professionals, your visionary approach will shape the future of our institution.

As our Principle, you will be the heart and soul of our school, responsible for setting the strategic direction, overseeing day-to-day operations, and ensuring the highest standards of teaching and learning. Your typical day might involve:
- Collaborating with your senior leadership team to develop and implement a compelling, student-centred curriculum that caters to the diverse needs of our learners.
- Observing and providing constructive feedback to our teaching staff, empowering them to continuously improve their practice.
- Meeting with parents and carers to discuss the progress and wellbeing of their children, and working closely with them to address any concerns.
- Representing the school at local and regional forums, building strong partnerships with other educational providers and community organisations.
- Championing a culture of continuous professional development, ensuring your team has the support and resources they need to thrive.
- Overseeing the school's finances, resources, and facilities to ensure they align with our strategic objectives.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be a visionary leader with a deep understanding of special educational needs. Our client is seeking an individual who can demonstrate the following:
- Extensive experience (at least 5 years) in a senior leadership position within a special educational needs setting, with a proven track record of driving positive change.
- A strong educational background, ideally with a postgraduate qualification in a relevant field, such as Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) or Educational Leadership.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including students, parents, staff, and external partners.
- A collaborative, inclusive management style that empowers your team and fosters a positive, supportive working environment.
- A commitment to continuous improvement, with the ability to identify areas for development and implement innovative, evidence-based solutions.
- A passion for championing the rights and needs of children with special educational needs, and a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities they face.

In return for your expertise and dedication, our client is offering a competitive salary of £65,000 to £75,000 per annum, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
- A generous pension scheme
- Comprehensive health and wellbeing support
- Opportunities for professional development and career progression
- A supportive, inclusive working environment
- The chance to make a tangible difference in the lives of our students

If you're ready to be the driving force behind our school's transformation and make a lasting impact on the lives of children with special educational needs, we want to hear from you. To apply, please submit your CV and a cover letter outlining your suitability for the role.

We look forward to welcoming you to our team and supporting you on your journey to becoming our next Principle.
