An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Corporate Property & Commercial Assets team, delivering a wide range of tasks across our corporate and commercial property portfolio. We are looking for an experienced Facilities Supervisor with a wealth of knowledge in the maintenance of a broad property portfolio, with a focus on compliance.
Our estate includes office accommodation, leisure centres, depots and a range of public and commercial properties across the district.
You will:
• Provide effective local leadership and direction to a team of caretaking staff, fostering a professional, responsive, and high performing working environment.
• Act as the primary point of contact for compliance activities, including the coordination and delivery of planned maintenance contracted works.
• Act as the primary point of contact for reactive maintenance issues, achieving timely and efficient resolution.
• Play an active role in enhancing and maintaining high standards across the Council’s corporate estate.
• Contribute to the Council’s sustainability objectives by supporting initiatives aimed at the decarbonisation of the estate.
About you:
You are a practical, organised facilities professional with experience in building maintenance, compliance and day to day operations. Confident coordinating contractors and supporting teams, you communicate clearly and resolve issues quickly. You take pride in delivering safe, compliant and customer focused environments across the Council’s property portfolio.
