Crynodeb
Holiday cottage cleaner sought for small 2 bedroom cottage near to Ludlow, Shropshire SY8 2. Open plan downstairs, 2 bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom.
Job will involve irregular hours - will depend on handover days - and we can be flexible to a certain extent.
Role will include cleaning the property throughout and maintaining it to a high standard. It may include laundry services as well, but this is not essential.
Property is about 12 minutes drive from the centre of Ludlow and there is no public transport to the village.
Job Role :
Upstairs:
• Strip beds
• Dust and hoover upstairs
• Make beds
• Empty bins
• Check mirrors
Clean bathroom:
• Clean toilet, bath, tiles and sink.
• Clean mirrors and sweep/mop floor
• Polishing the shower screen (both sides) and side of the bath.
• Wash & dry soap dispenser and toothbrush holder.
Kitchen:
• Wipe out fridge, microwave, and oven.
• Check that the bottom of the oven is clean.
• Check glasses, cups, plates, pans, etc. are all clean.
• Empty dishwasher, if needed.
• Empty out toaster and polish.
• Wipe out bread bin.
• Wipes down sides and sink.
• Clean bins inside and out. Put new bin bags in and empty the rubbish.
Downstairs
• Dust and polish the rest of downstairs. Wipe down dining room chairs
• Hoover and mop. Hoover the sofa and chair too.
Preparation
• Put out juice and biscuits/cake
• Put out tea towels, blue cloth & cleaning sponge
• Put out bathmat and towels on the beds
Check the property for any DIY issues and report back on them.
Hours will depend on the state of the property when you arrive and also our bookings. The cottage is marketed as a small luxury holiday let and our customers are generally very clean & tidy. The busy season is from May to October.
Hourly rate flexible and depends on what work is being undertaken (eg if it is just the cleaning or whether there will be laundry work as well).
Our last cleaner has given us feedback to say: "it really is a lovely little job and you have been lovely to work for. I hope that you are able to find someone who will enjoy looking after the chapel just as much as I have."
