Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail‑driven Accounts Assistant to support the daily financial operations of our fast‑growing trade plate logistics business. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting driver payments, and ensuring smooth administrative processes across the company.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily accounts tasks including invoicing, reconciliations, and payment processing
Monitor incoming job sheets and ensure accurate billing for completed vehicle movements
Process driver pay, mileage claims, expenses, and resolve any payment queries
Maintain up‑to‑date financial records and support month‑end reporting
Liaise with customers regarding invoices, statements, and payment status
Support compliance and audit readiness through accurate documentation and record‑keeping
Assist with general office administration as required
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in accounts, finance, or administrative roles
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Confident using Excel and accounting software
Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
Experience in transport/logistics is beneficial but not essential
