As a Key Worker specialising in supported employment, you will be responsible for supporting individuals with health conditions, disabilities, and complex barriers to secure and sustain meaningful paid employment. Working within the Supported Employment Quality Framework (SEQF), you will play a key role in promoting inclusion, reducing stigma, and enabling participants to achieve their employment goals.
You will manage a caseload of 30 participants, delivering tailored, face to face support within the local community. A central aspect of the role involves building strong relationships with employers, identifying suitable opportunities, and providing robust in work support to ensure long term job retention.

Required Criteria
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, including empathy, emotional intelligence, and the ability to build trust with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Proven experience supporting individuals to overcome barriers to gaining or sustaining employment.
• Demonstrated capability in delivering one to one support and facilitating small groups.
• Experience working within a structured delivery model, with the ability to innovate and adapt approaches to ensure inclusive and engaging support.
• Strong employer engagement skills: building partnerships, matching participant strengths to employer needs, negotiating opportunities, and promoting inclusive workplace practices.
• Knowledge of reasonable adjustments, benefits systems, basic employment law, and workplace accommodations.
• Understanding of supported employment principles and best practice.
• Skilled in using assessment tools (such as vocational profiling) to identify support needs and develop actionable employment plans.
• Excellent communication skills across written, verbal, and non verbal channels.
• Ability to monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust support strategies as required.
• Demonstrated attributes including resilience, adaptability, integrity, and effective decision making.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with experience working in performance driven environments.
• Ability to work independently and manage complex situations with persistence and professionalism.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance.
