Job Location: Linnhe Restaurant & Bistro, Alexandra Hotel, Fort William
Report To: Manager/ Restaurant Supervisor
Responsible For: The smooth running of the restaurant, support management, to pay attention to training procedures and to maintain the minimum set standards (exceeding these is even better).
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. To arrive at work punctually, well groomed and in appropriate ironed uniform.
2. To comply with all health and safety, COSHH, fire and company regulations at all times
3. Be helpful and considerate towards guests. Try to exceed their expectations without fraternising guests.
4. Handover any important information to the restaurant manager
5. To help and support manager and staff members.
6. To ensure that table are waited on correctly and correct orders are taken.
7. Re-sets for the restaurant are clean, polished, and tidy. Each table is correctly set with all correct cutlery and required glasses and napkins.
8. Buffet area is clean and tidy during service and after service (main restaurant).
9. To deal with customer enquires and complaints in a helpful and professional manner.
10. Any other duties deemed necessary by the hotel management.
