Main Purpose of the role:
To assist in the timely collection of invoices from customers via telephone, email and portals across multiple companies within the Group.
Outline of duties:

- Manage an assigned ledger ensuring payments are correctly allocated and any under or overpayments are addressed with the client.
- Chase for payment of overdue debt via telephone, email and through the use of customer portals.
- Issue statements & reminder letters periodically
- Identify customers requiring escalation and gather all supporting information to facilitate resolution.
- Identify, validate and resolve customer queries both independently and with the support of other business functions.
- Proactively contact your assigned ledger to ensure invoices are received, processed and free from query.
- Monitor your own performance and take ownership of your results.
- Participate in weekly ledger reviews to feedback on your own progress.

Office Cover: To provide cover in the absence of other staff as directed.
Data Protection: Work within the provisions of the Data Protection Act, observing strict confidentiality in relation to all aspects of work undertaken.
Health and Safety: To be aware of and work within the Company’s health and safety policies, relating to the working environment and building security, reporting any issues promptly to their immediate Line Manager.
Personal Development: Develop personal skills and capability through on-going training as provided internally by the company or externally subject to company approval and as agreed with your Line Manager.
Additional Responsibilities:
On occasion, travel to other offices may be required to attend induction, training or meetings.
The above duties are neither exclusive nor exhaustive and the post holder may be required to carry out other duties, deemed appropriate by their Line Manager.
