Summary
Our client, a renowned educational institution in Leeds, West Yorkshire, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-time SEN (Special Educational Needs) Teaching Assistant to join their dynamic team. - Monitoring and recording students' progress, collaborating with the teaching team to identify areas for improvement and implement effective intervention strategies.
- Offering emotional support and guidance to students, helping them navigate the challenges they may face and promoting their social, emotional, and behavioural development.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, contributing to the overall assessment and reporting processes.
- Participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to continuously enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Adhering to all school policies, procedures, and safeguarding protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of the students in our care.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

- A proactive and adaptable approach, willing to embrace new strategies and methods to support student learning and development.
- Relevant experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational or care-based role.
- A recognised teaching assistant qualification or a willingness to undertake relevant training.
