Location: Leeds

Contract: Full-time, Term-Time, Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

Age Group: 4-16 years

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £19500 - £20,500 (depending on experience)

We are seeking a caring SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex needs, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and access to learning.

You will support classroom learning, behaviour, and personal care, deliver interventions, and assist with physical, emotional, and medical needs, following all safeguarding procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with SEN and complex needs, ensuring safety and access to learning
- Assist teachers with engaging, differentiated lessons
- Promote positive behaviour and learning attitudes
- Provide personal care, including feeding, hygiene, and medical support where needed
- Ensure pupil wellbeing and safety at all times
- Follow school policies, procedures, and safeguarding requirements

What we're looking for:
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEN is essential
- Caring, committed, and passionate about supporting learners with complex needs
- Experience or willingness to support physical, medical, behavioural, and emotional needs
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Calm, patient, and resilient approach to behaviour support
- Team player who follows guidance from teaching and senior staff
- Flexible, proactive, and adaptable in a school environment
- Strong commitment to safeguarding and school policies .
