Summary
Are you a dedicated healthcare professional with a specialised interest in Infection Prevention and Control? Are you looking for an additional role that can harness your expertise and make a difference? This is a new, unique opportunity to provide expert leadership, assurance and operational coordination for prevention, preparedness, detection, response and recovery related to communicable disease incidents and outbreaks in Primary Care settings. Ensuring compliance with: Health and Social Care Act 2008: Code of Practice (IPC Code). UKHSA Communicable Disease Outbreak Management Guidance (incl. Toolkits for risk assessment, IMT, investigation, settingspecific management, communications, and auditable standards). NHS England National IPC Manual (NIPCM) and IPC Board Assurance Framework (BAF). CQC expectations for IPC in General Practice. Health & Safety legislation (COSHH for biological agents; RIDDOR reporting where applicable). This is a part time flexible opportunity, 10 hours per week. This will be 2 hours per day, 5 days a week for this role with other opportunities across the day. This is a site based role in Worcester.
