1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant (Driver Required) - Greenwich - £95-£115 per day
We are currently seeking a dedicated Female 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in a welcoming school in London. This is a unique and rewarding role combining 1:1 support with general classroom responsibilities.
The Role:
You will begin the day supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis, helping them engage with learning and manage their day. Around midday, you will be required to safely drop the pupil home. You will then return to the school to continue the day as a general Teaching Assistant, supporting across the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs in the morning
- Support engagement, learning, and emotional regulation
- Safely transport the pupil home around midday (petrol costs covered)
- Return to school and support as a general TA for the remainder of the day
- Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to support pupil progress
The Ideal Candidate:
- Female candidate (due to specific pupil requirements)
- Must have a valid driving licence and access to a car
- Experience working with children with SEN
- Patient, reliable, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and organisational skills
