Care and Support - Osprey Court Care Home

Contract: Full Time and Part- Time Salary: £14.00 Per Hour Shift Type: Days & Nights Available Contracted hours: 22-44

Osprey Court Care Home is a purpose built 60 bed care home located in Pitcrocknie Village, adjacent to the town of Alyth in Perth and Kinross. Providing Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care, the home offers a modern, high quality environment where team members can build strong relationships, develop their skills and make a meaningful difference as part of a supportive and welcoming team.

Senior Care Assistant – Dayshift and Nightshift

  • £14.00 per hour
  • Full time and part time contracts available
  • Dayshift and Nightshift available
  • Pension, Paid PVG, Uniform provided, Onsite parking
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full time contract

Role Overview
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high quality, person centred care while leading and guiding the care team during your shift. You will ensure residents’ needs are met with dignity, respect and compassion, while promoting independence and wellbeing.

You will support with personal care, mobility and daily routines, oversee medication administration and ensure accurate documentation. You will lead by example, coordinate shift activities, support colleagues and maintain effective communication with residents, families and healthcare professionals.

You will also contribute to a positive, supportive environment within the home, ensuring high standards of care, safety and teamwork are maintained at all times.

What We Are Looking For

  • SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or working towards
  • Medication training with practical competency
  • Ability to lead, support and motivate a team
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Compassionate, professional and resident focused approach
