We currently have a permanent vacancy to join our teams, Monday to Friday as required on a 38 week, term-time contract.
Thornton:
Thornton Primary School - 10 hours per week working as required, Monday to Friday (between 12pm-2pm), 38 week, term-time contract
Key tasks:
Understanding dietary and nutritional needs (desirable).
Preparing food and beverages.
Simple cooking.
Serving food and beverages.
General kitchen and dining room duties.
You will earn a competitive salary of £25,604.23 pro-rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:
We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £13.64 per hour for this post.
Pay is every 4 weeks and annualised.
Membership of Fife Pension Fund which is part of the Scottish Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS Scotland).

Access to and support with a training opportunities and qualifications for the job.
Local and national discounts including supermarkets, restaurants and retail!
This work is about providing customer service, ensuring pupils receive hot or cold meals every school day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference with meal you have served. On the job training is given working towards a Food Hygiene Certificate.
The Person
You will be required to attend an induction training day before starting in post.
Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
