Summary
In this Mobile Catering Supervisor post, working Monday - Friday, you would be responsible for all activities in the kitchen and its surrounds including cooking, organisation and supervision of food service.
Supervising staff working in the kitchen.
You must be aware of HACCP procedures and ensure all paperwork and electronic returns are completed and submitted according.
Understanding dietary and nutritional needs.
Duties may also include transporting and serving of meals, general kitchen and dining room duties (for example washing up, setting up and clearing away equipment and tables), and cleaning of the kitchen and it’s surround.
We have a permanent vacancy to join our team working in primary schools and nurseries in the East of Fife.
Post - 30 hours per week on a 38 week term-time contract, as required from 8:00am to 2:00pm, Monday to Friday.
You will earn a competitive salary of £26,786.83 to £29,170.80 pro-rata with access to a range of benefits, including:
£14.27 per hour to start, plus extra payments for shift work.
Pay is every 4 weeks and annualised.

Travel expenses will be paid - we pay 45 pence per mile to staff using their own car.

The Person
Catering experience or a qualification such as an SVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent is essential for this post.
Ability to provide a regular and effective service, working alone or as part of a team.
Have the ability to travel to numerous locations within the specified area of work at short notice.
You will be required to attend an induction training day before starting in post.
Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
