Are you an enthusiastic, passionate Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages with a proven track record of strong outcomes looking to join a successful and supportive school? Wadebridge School is seeking a qualified Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages to join our well-resourced and thriving Modern Foreign Languages department. This role would be suitable for an experienced teacher or early career teacher (ECT).

About the Role

Within Modern Foreign Languages, Key Stage 3 students' study either French or Spanish. At Key stage 4, students study from the Edexcel specification.

The successful candidate will:

• Teach French and Spanish across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that motivate and challenge all learners
• Contribute to the continued development of a dynamic and ambitious MFL curriculum
• Support students in achieving strong outcomes at GCSE
• Play an active role in the wider life of the department and school

The Ideal Candidate

This position would suit an experienced teacher with a track record of excellent student progress across Key Stage 3 and 4, or equally a newly qualified teacher who can demonstrate the potential to make a positive impact on students’ outcomes. The successful candidate should be enthusiastic, confident, with an absolute commitment to the highest standards of teaching and learning and a genuine enthusiasm for nurturing a passion for MFL.

Candidates should have energy and vision to build on the current progress of the department and be keen to develop existing schemes of learning to promote student participation, progress and attainment and to realise aspirational progress for all.
