An exciting opportunity has arisen within Baden Powell Primary School for three enthusiastic and passionate teaching assistants, with a strong commitment to inclusive education to join our Specialist Resource Base.
This specialist provision offers a nurturing and inclusive environment for pupils with complex needs, ensuring every child and their family feels valued and supported. The SRB provides tailored education for pupils who require a highly differentiated curriculum and specialist strategies to thrive. The Governing Body and Headteacher are seeking to appoint three teaching assistants who have significant experience of working with pupils with Emotional Health and Wellbeing Needs in either specialist provision or mainstream primary schools.
The post requires a level of specialist expertise in supporting pupils with additional needs, together with excellent interpersonal skills. It would offer an excellent opportunity for individuals who wish to extend and enhance their professional development within the field of EHW.
Successful applicants will:
• be highly motivated, able to show initiative and resilience
• demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills
• be adaptable, resourceful with a good sense of humour
• be able to work as a part of a dedicated team
• improve the learning outcomes and wellbeing of pupils in the SRB

Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
