Are you a confident Early Years practitioner ready to lead a warm, nurturing EYFS room?
We are looking for an inspiring EYFS Room Leader to join a lovely setting in Vauxhall on a full‑time basis, starting after the Easter break.
This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced EYFS professional who is passionate about early learning, confident leading a small team, and committed to delivering high‑quality care and education.
What We’re Looking For
Level 3 EYFS Practitioner (or above)
OR Qualified Teacher / HLTA with strong EYFS experience
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
Confident leading a room and supporting a team of practitioners
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child‑centred practice
Able to create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment
Passionate about children’s early development, wellbeing and learning
Organised, proactive and confident with safeguarding responsibilities
The Role
Leading the EYFS room and supporting daily routines
Planning high‑quality, play‑based activities
Overseeing learning journals, observations and developmental tracking
Supporting behaviour, communication and early social skill development
Working closely with the wider team, SLT and parents
Ensuring a warm, caring and consistent atmosphere for all children
