Seeking a Care Assistant to support a lady living with Functional Neurological Disorder which causes her to have unpredictable seizures which then cause her to have low energy in the days following.

My client is looking for support with daily living tasks. She would like someone to help her remain as independent as possible.

Support with Batch Cooking - once a week so that client can have food stored and available for if she feels unwell and not up to cooking or food preparation.

Support and encouragement with daily routine; Support with cleaning, laundry and ironing - my client needs somebody to support her with these tasks to try and conserve her energy so that she can enjoy family time with her daughter.

My client would ideally like someone who is experienced with domestic tasks and running a home. She is looking for a candidate who is friendly and encouraging, is able to take a person-centred approach and be sensitive to her preferences but also able to show initiative and work independently when given tasks. Someone with a caring attitude but also able to respect and maintain strong professional boundaries. Willing to learn about FND and the different symptoms and difficulties the client experiences.
