Personal Assistant Required – 10‑Year‑Old BoyLocation: Ingleby BarwickHours:

• 7.5 hours per week during term time
• 13.5 hours per week during school holidays

We are looking for a caring and reliable Personal Assistant to support “C”, a fun, non‑verbal 10‑year‑old boy with autism, based in Ingleby Barwick.

The successful applicant will be responsible, dependable, and have an understanding of autism, including the ability to manage challenging behaviours. C uses PECS to communicate, so experience or knowledge of this system would be advantageous.

A flexible approach is essential, as working days and times may vary to meet the needs of the family.Main duties include:

• Supporting C to access the local community
• Accompanying him to activities he enjoys, including the park, swimming, trampolining, and cinema visits

C uses a pushchair when out and about and is fully toilet trained.Additional duties will include supporting C within the family home.

A full driving licence and access to a vehicle would be preferable.

An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role; the cost will be covered by the client.
