An exciting opportunity has arisen for a friendly and passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join a growing, independent, family-owned practice in Leicestershire. This RCVS-accredited practice is known for its supportive culture, strong team ethos, and genuine commitment to both patient care and staff wellbeing.
This role would suit a vet who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys a varied caseload, and is looking to develop their skills within a forward-thinking and well-equipped practice.
The Role
• Full-time position with flexible working options (4 longer days or 5 shorter days)
• Shift pattern: 9:00am – 7:00pm
• 1 in 4 Saturdays (10:00am – 5:00pm)
• No Sundays
• On-call rota: 1 week per month, always supported by a second vet
• Salary up to £65,000 depending on experience
• Open to new graduates

Facilities & Team
This modern and well-equipped practice offers:
• CT scanner (arriving April)
• Digital radiography (DR X-ray)
• Advanced ultrasound
• In-house laboratory
You’ll be joining a close-knit and supportive team of:
• 2 Veterinary Surgeons
• 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses
• 1 Veterinary Care Assistant
About You
The ideal candidate will:
• Be RCVS registered (or eligible)
• Have a passion for delivering high-quality care to both patients and clients
• Enjoy working as part of a collaborative team
• Be confident in routine consults and procedures
• Have an interest in small animal practice, with exposure to exotics (willingness to consult is essential, advanced experience not required)
