Crynodeb

Our client, a forward-thinking primary school nestled in the heart of Rochdale, Lancashire, is on the hunt for an exceptional Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated and passionate team. If you're a nurturing, creative individual who thrives on seeing young minds blossom, this could be the opportunity you've been searching for.

As an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in creating a safe, inclusive, and enriching environment where our youngest learners can explore, discover, and achieve their full potential. Reporting to the EYFS Lead and working closely with our dedicated SEN team, you'll be responsible for providing personalised support to a diverse group of children, ensuring they receive the individualised attention and care they need to thrive.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will be as varied as the children you'll be supporting. From leading small-group activities and facilitating one-on-one interventions to assisting with personal care routines and supporting behaviour management, you'll be a crucial member of our close-knit team. We're looking for someone who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty, whether that means helping a child with their writing, guiding them through a messy art project, or comforting them when they're feeling overwhelmed.

But it's not just the practical aspects of the role that are important. Our client values creativity, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children, especially those with additional needs. We want someone who can think outside the box, who can adapt their approach to suit the unique learning styles and needs of each child in their care. Whether you're crafting innovative sensory experiences, incorporating music and movement into your lessons, or simply providing a warm, listening ear, your ability to connect with and inspire our students will be paramount.

If you have previous experience working in an EYFS or SEN setting, that's fantastic. But even if you're new to the field, we're more interested in your natural aptitude for working with children, your boundless enthusiasm, and your willingness to learn and grow alongside our team. After all, our client is committed to providing comprehensive training and ongoing support to ensure you have the skills and confidence to excel in this role.

In return for your dedication and hard work, our client is offering a competitive daily rate of £102 - £110, as well as the opportunity to be part of a vibrant, collaborative community of educators. Based in Rochdale, Lancashire, this full-time position will immerse you in the diverse, welcoming culture of our school, where you'll have the chance to make a tangible difference in the lives of our extraordinary EYFS learners.

If this sounds like the perfect role for you, we can't wait to hear from you. Apply now and take the first step towards an incredibly rewarding career in EYFS SEN education.
