Crynodeb

We are outstanding, you can be too.

Here at Portland Charity’s Woodland Adventure Zone, we offer a variety of exciting outdoor activities and team building events designed to challenge and inspire.

As a seasonal Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in organising, supporting and delivering a range of adventure activities for our learners and citizens as well as external clients. This will involve taking a leading role in our Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme during college half term times.

Our centre has a bespoke outdoor wall with climbing, abseil and a quick flight. We are also proud to introduce some new activities to our centre, including a bike trail and an archery range. We have a thrilling zip line through the trees and an area dedicated to bushcraft skills and team building. The successful candidate needs to be confident to work at height and in a vibrant outdoor environment. As we deliver inclusive sessions for all, the ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of working with adults and children with disabilities.

You should be friendly, enthusiastic and confident in providing a high-quality experience to all of our service users. This role will involve collaborating effectively with team members whilst also being able to work independently to ensure that each day at the Adventure Zone runs smoothly.

We are looking for someone who loves the outdoors; is assured when delivering to groups; and has a positive can-do attitude. If you would like to join a thriving team in which no two days are the same, we look forward to hearing from you.

You can see more about what we do at Portland Charity by looking at the Who We Are and Choose Your Future pages on our website https://www.portland.ac.uk/

Please note, this is a seasonal role with a fixed term end date.

As part of our pre-employment checks, we will be required to carry out a full enhanced with barred lists DBS check.

*Please note that we will not accept any applications submitted after the campaign has been closed. We may close campaigns early if we have a high volume of applications.
