GCIL.KA/LD/1.26 Female Personal Assistant for May
Personal Assistant for May
May is a friendly and enthusiastic young woman in need of a personal assistant to help her attend the activities she loves. For the most part, you will be driving May to and from her activities, but occasionally if she’s on a break you could also be taking her out to the shops or doing other things she enjoys.
The ideal match for May should be patient, calm and understanding – as well as giving a good high-five! This job requires a female driver with a clean driving license, but a car will be provided for transport while on shift. While previous experience of working with people who have autism is helpful in this role, it’s most important that you build a relationship with May. If you share her interest in arts, crafts and horses, then you’re already off to a good start!
This role is for a total of 20 hours per week, worked over 5 days Monday – Friday. The shift pattern is for 2 hours in the mornings (8.30AM – 10.30AM) and 2 hours in the afternoons (2.30PM – 4.30PM). The hourly rate for this position is £12.60, and it is based in Castlemilk so it would be ideal if you’re nearby.
If you’re interested in applying, please send your CV to par@gcil.org.uk with the reference “KA/LD/1.26” in the subject line and the body of the email. If you have any questions, please contact GCIL on 0141 550 4455.
Any references to gender preferences for this role are an Occupational Requirement in accordance with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
