Crynodeb
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Cluster HR Manager based in Cardiff and Bristol. Overseeing two hotel properties in Cardiff and one in Bristol.
The Cluster HR Manager will be responsible for leading and managing all human resources functions across the three properties, ensuring consistency, compliance, and a positive employee experience.
The role involves working closely with General Managers and Heads of Department to support recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and staff development. You will play a key role in shaping a strong workplace culture, driving engagement, and ensuring all HR practices align with company standards and employment legislation.
Regular travel between properties (including Bristol) will be required to provide hands-on HR support and maintain strong relationships with on-site teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee all HR operations across the cluster of three hotels
• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including workforce planning and onboarding
• Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters (disciplinary, grievance, absence management)
• Ensure full compliance with UK employment law and company policies
• Support and coach managers on performance management and staff development
• Drive employee engagement initiatives and promote a positive workplace culture
• Maintain accurate HR records and oversee payroll coordination where required
• Deliver HR training and support learning & development initiatives
• Monitor staff turnover, absence, and key HR metrics, providing insights and recommendations
• Support organisational change, restructures, and business transitions where necessary
• Ensure consistency of HR practices across all properties
Qualifications
• Proven experience in an HR Manager role, ideally within hospitality or a multi-site environment
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
• Experience handling a wide range of employee relations cases
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build strong relationships with managers and teams across multiple sites
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Confident working independently and taking a proactive approach
• CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) or equivalent is preferred
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between Cardiff and Bristol
