We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic dietitian to join our innovative dietetic team at The Royal London Hospital. This rotational band 5 post includes three rotations within Renal, Surgery and Medicine. This rotational post will cover a variety of clinical areas including acute admissions, general medical, surgery, renal and care of the elderly wards. You may be asked to cover other specialties as needed. The role will allow you to gain experience working in a busy inpatient setting.

As a Trust, we provide a service to a large multi cultural population and you will be required to provide a service that is appropriate to meet the diverse needs of our patients.

As a Rotational Band 5 Dietitian you will work with the dietetic team to provide an effective dietetic service to adult in-patients. This will include working closely with the wider multidisciplinary team. You will manage a caseload of patients requiring nutrition support using evidence-based practice. You will also be responsible for the safe management of home enteral feeding discharges. You will have the opportunity to undertake audit and service development in your clinical area. The post holder will start in the surgical rotation.



You will be supported to achieve your learning and development needs, including Band 5 role specific competencies and the department offers regular CPD opportunities. There will be the opportunity to take part in teaching and training activities, including the training of students and other staff across the Trust, when required.
