Lunchtime Assistant – MDSA
Hours between 11:45 – 13:30
1 - 2 days per week term time only
MDSA: BWMAT SCP3: £24,796 (FTE) Actual Salary £1,003.13- £2,006.26
Permanent contract
Term time only plus 1 Inset Day.
Freshford Church School are looking to recruit an enthusiastic lunchtime assistant (MDSA).
This is a great opportunity to work with a team who enjoy making the school day as enjoyable
as possible and to build up experience working in a school and further career opportunities.
You will work in the hall as part of the lunchtime team as well as in the playground.
You will be expected to:
· Maintain a calm, respectful atmosphere and encourage positive behaviour
· Set up the hall for lunchtime and create a welcoming environment
· Work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with others
· Support children during mealtimes and tidying up
· Deal with any minor first aid incidents (training will be provided)
· Set up and clear away tables and benches at the start and end of lunchtime and general
cleaning duties
