Reports to: SENDCo/Head of the Neurodiversity & Academic Support Hub (NASH)Contract Type: Full-time, Term Time Salary: Grade 3, FTE 0.8The Role-To foster independence and resilience in high ability students who are not successfully engaging with the school curriculum for a range of reasons e.g. SEND, poor attendance, low motivation.
To mentor and motivate academically able students.
To bridge the gap between classroom teachers and pupils by empowering students to find strategies that enable them to take responsibility for their own learning.
To provide emotional support, and guide in emotional regulation, for students who are facing academic difficulties and pressures.Please see the Job Description for full details.
