Job Title: Junior Production Engineer
Job Type: Days based, Perm
Location: Brockworth, Gloucester
Salary: Circa £35,000 per annum
Hours: 7:30am-4:00pm Mon-Thurs 7:30-3:00 Fri
An opportunity has arisen for a Junior Production Engineer to join a growing family run precision engineering business. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their career within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, supporting both production and quality functions.
Key Responsibilities
Support the smooth running of the shop floor
Liaise with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to resolve technical queries
Assist with quality processes and compliance activities
Provide support to the quality department during busy periods
Assist with quoting and route card creation
Support tooling requirements and production planning
Candidate Profile
Time-served apprentice or early-career engineer (within precision manufacturing)
Experience within a manufacturing or machining environment (desirable)
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
Good communication skills at all levels
Proactive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Ability to work independently when required
