Job Title: CNC Production Engineer
Job Type: Days based, Perm
Location: Brockworth, Gloucester
Salary: £38,000 – £42,000 DOE
Hours: 7:30am-4pm Mon-Thurs 7:30am-3pm Fri
The Role
A well-established family run precision engineering company is seeking an experienced Production Engineer to support ongoing growth and increased demand. This role will play a key part in ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
⦠Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the shop floor
⦠Act as a key point of contact for technical queries across production, customers, and suppliers
⦠Optimise and manage manufacturing processes
⦠Oversee and support quality-related activities and ensure compliance actions are completed
⦠Prepare quotes and develop route cards
⦠Manage tooling requirements and contribute to process improvements
Candidate Profile
⦠Time-served apprentice or equivalent engineering background
⦠Strong experience within a subcontract precision machining environment
⦠Proven problem-solving ability and continuous improvement mindset
⦠Strong communication skills across all levels
⦠Ability to work independently and collaboratively
⦠Proactive and adaptable approach
