Full-Time Position
A warm and inclusive primary school in Oldham is looking to appoint a SEN Classroom Support Practitioner to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and making a lasting impact on their learning journey.
Working across Key Stages 1 and 2, you will play a key role in ensuring pupils feel supported, confident, and able to access the curriculum in a meaningful way.
In this role, you will:
• Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
• Support the delivery of adapted lessons and intervention activities
• Assist pupils with communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation
• Implement strategies that help remove barriers to learning
• Encourage independence, confidence, and positive engagement
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff to meet individual needs
• Contribute to a structured, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
You will play a vital part in helping pupils feel valued, included, and motivated to learn.
We are looking for someone who:
• Has experience working with children in an SEN or educational setting
• Understands inclusive teaching and support strategies
• Has strong communication and teamwork skills
• Is patient, empathetic, and proactive in their approach
• Can adapt quickly to meet the individual needs of pupils
• Has a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and wellbeing
• Competitive daily rate of £95-£110
