Crynodeb
We are looking for an experienced nursery cook to work at our setting in Henley-on-Thames.
The Oast House, Greys Road Car Park, Henley-on-Thames, RG9 2AA
Duties:
Planning and preparing menus for children aged 0 – 5 years.
Prepare and cook meals, snacks and drinks for children.
Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
Work with nursery staff to understand children’s needs and preferences.
Monitor food storage and kitchen equipment.
Arrange and purchase the weekly online food shop.
Responsible for achieving a 5 star Food Standards Agency rating.
Experience:
Food Hygiene Certificate.
Knowledge of child nutrition.
Food safety and handling qualifications.
First aid and safeguarding training desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
Enhanced DBS check required.
Skills:
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
Patience and understanding of children’s needs.
