Sales Consultant / Adviser

Location: Leicester (Showroom Based)
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 + Competitive Bonus
Employment Type: Permanent | ASAP Start


The Role

We are looking for a polished, high-energy Sales Professional to join a leading national developer. Based in a busy showroom in Leicester, you will be the face of the business, guiding customers through the journey of purchasing their new home. This is a fast-paced, face-to-face role that requires a "safe pair of hands" to manage high-value transactions and deliver a premium service.


Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Conversion: Lead the sales process from initial enquiry to legal completion, converting leads into site visits and site visits into sales.
  • Customer Journey: Build genuine rapport to understand customer needs, providing expert advice on local amenities, schools, and transport.
  • Target Achievement: Consistently meet and exceed sales targets using available schemes, incentives, and a proactive closing methodology.
  • Showroom Management: Maintain high standards in the sales office, booking appointments and providing professional product demonstrations.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with site management and solicitors to ensure a smooth, timely exchange and completion process.

What We're Looking For

  • Sector Experience: Ideally, you will have a background in New Home Developments or Estate Agency.
  • High-Level Sales Skills: Proven experience in a service-led sales environment (Retail, Banking, or Hospitality will be considered if you have high-level commercial acumen).
  • Resilience: A self-starter who remains calm under pressure and thrives on hitting targets.
  • Mobility: You must hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have access to a vehicle for business travel.
  • IT Literacy: Comfortable using CRM systems and sales technology.

The Package

  • Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 (Base) + Excellent Bonus Scheme.
  • Healthcare: Private Medical Cover (Single).
  • Holiday: 26 Days + Bank Holidays (increases with length of service).

Working Pattern

This role requires a dedicated professional comfortable with a standard industry rota:

  • Days: Thursday to Monday (Standard working week).
  • Hours: 10:00 am - 5:30 pm.
  • Weekends: One full weekend off in every ten. Must be flexible to work on bank holidays.
