Crynodeb
Millfield School is seeking a Boarding House Manager to join us on a fixed‑term basis for the summer term (20 April–26 June 2026). This 26‑hour‑per‑week role is based in the village of Walton, a short drive from Millfield, working Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 1.00–6.00pm and Wednesday from 12.00–6.00pm, during term time. The position is within one of our boys’ boarding houses.
As a Boarding House Manager, you will join a small, supportive team dedicated to ensuring pupils feel safe, secure and well cared for. You will play a key role in the smooth, efficient running of the house and in creating a welcoming atmosphere for all who live there.
Key duties will include supervising pupils in the house, general tidying and managing the upkeep of the house, ordering food and distributing snacks, and assisting pupils with day-to-day tasks such as mending uniforms, basic first aid and sorting lost property.
In return, you will receive £12.89 per hour, plus a range of staff benefits.
