Assembly Operative - Temp to Perm Opportunity (Stockport)
The Best Connection are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in central Stockport. This is an excellent 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate, offering stability and long-term prospects.
Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 15:00
-
Friday: 07:00 - 12:30 (early finish!)

39 hours per week
Pay Rate:

From £12.21 per hour, higher rates on overtime
You will be working as part of a small, supportive team within the assembly department, helping to meet production targets and ensure high-quality finished products.
Key Responsibilities-
Assemble LED boards, frames, and light fittings

Carry out wiring, testing, and final assembly of products

Complete packaging and palletising of finished goods

Follow production schedules and support team members when needed

Ensure all products meet quality standards and report any issues

Maintain accurate documentation in line with ISO and SAGE requirements

Adhere to all Health & Safety guidelines

Keep your work area clean, organised, and efficient

Contribute to continuous improvement within the team

A reliable and hardworking individual

Good attention to detail and quality standards

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential
