The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
• Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
• Work closely with teaching staff to adapt lessons and learning materials
• Support pupils to stay engaged, motivated, and confident in the classroom
• Encourage the development of independence, communication, and social skills
• Track progress and share updates with teachers and SEN staff
• Contribute to a structured, positive, and inclusive learning environment
Your role will be key in helping pupils overcome barriers and feel supported in their learning journey.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
• Holds a relevant qualification (Level 3 Teaching Assistant or similar)
• Has experience supporting children or young people with SEN
• Understands how to support differentiated and inclusive learning
• Communicates effectively and works well within a team
• Is organised, proactive, and adaptable
• Brings a patient, empathetic, and supportive approach
• Is committed to ongoing professional growth and development
