Impact Futures Group have a brand new opportunity for a talented individual to join our FRFA team as National Accounts Manager.
This is a homebased role with a requirement for travel.
The Role:
To develop, manage, and grow a portfolio of strategic national accounts on behalf of First Response First Aid, maximising revenue
and long-term client value by positioning FRFA as the preferred compliance training partner for large, multi-site organisations
across the UK. The National Accounts Manager will be responsible for building and sustaining strong senior-level relationships,
driving commercial growth through retention, upsell, and cross-sell activity, and identifying and converting new national account
opportunities. Working closely with internal operations and training coordination teams, the role ensures that clients
consistently receive a high-quality, seamlessly delivered training experience that supports their compliance obligations and
workforce development goals.
This is a field-based, commercially focused role that sits at the heart of FRFA's growth strategy, and requires a confident,
self-motivated individual who can operate effectively at both a strategic and operational level.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Account Management & Client Retention
- Manage an assigned portfolio of national accounts, serving as the primary commercial contact for each client.
- Build and maintain strong, multi-level relationships within client organisations, engaging with procurement, HR, health &
safety, and senior leadership stakeholders.
- Conduct regular structured account reviews to assess performance, identify risks, and uncover growth opportunities.
- Proactively manage contract renewals, ensuring retention targets are met and commercial terms are aligned with business
objectives.
- Monitor account health, addressing any service concerns promptly in collaboration with the operations and training coordination
teams.
- New Business Development
- Research, identify, and target prospective national accounts across FRFA's key sectors, including healthcare, facilities
management, utilities, logistics, and childcare.
- Develop compelling, tailored training proposals and commercial solutions that meet client compliance and workforce development
needs.
- Lead and contribute to formal tender and RFP responses, working collaboratively with the wider commercial team.
- Build and maintain a robust new business pipeline, ensuring consistent activity to meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue
targets.
- Revenue Growth & Commercial Performance
- Drive upsell and cross-sell activity across the full FRFA and Impact Futures Group training portfolio, including Caring for Care
clinical training products.
- Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and service-level agreements in line with company margin and revenue targets.
- Accurately forecast revenue and pipeline activity, providing regular updates to the Sales Director and senior leadership team.
- Take ownership of individual revenue targets, demonstrating consistent achievement against KPIs.
- Client Experience & Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with the Training Coordination team to ensure national account training programmes are scheduled, resourced, and
delivered to the highest standard.
- Oversee the onboarding of new national accounts, ensuring a smooth and professional transition from contract award through to
first delivery.
- Act as an escalation point for client issues, taking ownership of resolution and communicating outcomes clearly to all
stakeholders.
- Gather client feedback post-delivery and share insights with operational and leadership teams to drive continuous improvement.
CRM, Reporting & Administration
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all account activity, client communications, and pipeline data within the CRM system.
- Produce regular account performance reports, highlighting revenue trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Ensure all commercial activity is conducted in line with company policies, pricing frameworks, and compliance requirements.
- Stay informed of sector trends, competitor activity, and changes in compliance legislation that may impact client needs or
create new commercial opportunities.

About You:
Essential
- Extensive experience in a national accounts, key accounts, or senior business development role.
- Proven track record of managing and growing complex, multi-site client relationships at a senior level.
- Demonstrable experience of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a B2B environment.
- Experience of managing full sales cycles from prospecting through to contract award and onboarding.
- Experience of negotiating commercial contracts, pricing frameworks, and service-level agreements.
- Experience of working with CRM systems to manage pipeline, forecast revenue, and report on activity.
Desirable
- Experience within the training, workforce development, health & safety, or compliance sectors.
- Experience of working with large national organisations in sectors such as healthcare, facilities management, utilities,
logistics, or childcare.
- Experience of responding to formal tenders and public or private sector procurement processes.
- Experience of cross-selling or upselling across a multi-product or multi-brand portfolio.
- Experience operating within a group or multi-entity business structure.
