Job Title: PMLD Teaching Assistant

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) Teaching Assistant to join a supportive SEN school in Bury. This is a full-time role starting as soon as possible, working closely with pupils who have complex learning needs, physical disabilities, and sensory impairments.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with PMLD

Assist with personal care, including feeding, toileting, and hygiene

Support students with communication needs using tools such as PECS, Makaton, or assistive technology

Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff

Requirements:
