As part of our Planning function, the UK MRP Controller plays a key role in ensuring product availability, operational efficiency, and right‑sized inventory across the UK market. Acting as the front-line contact for Vendors and internal stakeholders, you’ll manage a material resource planning portfolio end‑to‑end—overseeing supply, demand, and stock levels while contributing to new product launches and end‑of‑life processes.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys data-driven problem‑solving, cross‑functional working, and making a direct impact on service levels and supply chain performance. This role is a 12 month fixed term contract.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee Material Resource Planning across all HD UK sites.
Manage supply in line with demand to meet Service Level targets—including ensuring availability of finished goods, raw materials, and packaging for production.
Forecast future demand to support new ranges and promotional activities, balancing service with stock turn efficiency.
Replenish and manage stock within agreed inventory budgets.
Communicate and manage stock shortages through customer service teams.
Implement and execute MRP processes, routines, policies, and controls within your portfolio.
Standardise and utilise the SAP MRP module—setting planning parameters and managing master data.
Ensure SAP accurately reflects stock positions, in‑transit goods, and open purchase/sales orders.
Partner with commercial teams to input insights into the S&OP process.
Calculate and monitor KPIs such as OTIF%, stock availability, and lead‑time adherence.
Collaborate closely with Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Finance.
Drive automation, digitalisation, and data-led decision-making across planning activities.
What We’re Looking For
Advanced MS Office proficiency
2–3 years in MRP Controlling or Supply Planning within the UK market.
BSc in a business‑related field.
SAP MRP knowledge (or other SAP modules) is highly advantageous
Ability to make data‑driven decisions and solve complex planning challenges.
Confident communicator able to build effective relationships with internal teams and vendors.
Why Join Us?
Play a pivotal role in shaping material planning and inventory performance across the UK.
Work end‑to‑end within the supply chain, influencing new product introductions and operational strategy.
Join a collaborative environment where cross-functional teamwork, continuous improvement, and innovation are celebrated.
Be part of a business committed to digital transformation, automation, and empowering data-driven decision-making.
Benefit from opportunities to grow, develop your expertise, and influence key business outcomes.
We understand there’s no one-size-fits-all approach. We’re proud to offer an inclusive workplace where every colleague feels valued, supported, and empowered to be their true self.
