Machine Tool Operator (CNC) - Night Shift

Location: Coventry (CV4 9AP)
Pay Rate: £15.30 per hour

Shift Pattern:

  • Monday - Wednesday: 21:30 - 07:30

  • Thursday: 21:30 - 06:30

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an experienced Machine Tool Operator on behalf of a well-established precision engineering and manufacturing company based in Coventry. The company specialises in the machining of high-precision metal components used within the engineering and automotive supply chain.

This role is working on a permanent night shift and requires candidates with previous CNC machining experience.

Duties will include:

  • Operating CNC machine tools to produce precision engineered components

  • Working to technical drawings and job specifications

  • Monitoring machine performance and product quality

  • Carrying out basic adjustments and tool changes where required

  • Ensuring all parts meet strict quality standards

  • Maintaining a safe and organised work area

Requirements:

  • Previous CNC machining / machine tool operating experience is essential

  • Experience working within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment

  • Ability to read and work from engineering drawings

  • Strong attention to detail and quality control

  • Ability to work the stated night shift pattern
