We’re hiring a reliable Manual Handling - Production Operative to join our shop-floor team in Braintree (Springwood Industrial Estate). This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ideal for someone who enjoys physical work and being part of a team.

This is a late shift (1:30pm–midnight)
You must be able to reliably travel to Braintree and commit to these hours
What You’ll Be Doing
* Unloading sheet metal using appropriate tools
* Handling, counting and sorting metal parts
* Supporting production operatives with daily tasks
* Packing parts for dispatch (boxes, pallets, wrapping)
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
* Recycling materials (cardboard, plastic, etc.)
* Following Health & Safety procedures at all times
* Completing basic paperwork when required
What We’re Looking For
* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
* Comfortable with physical, manual work
* Good attention to detail
* Willingness to learn and follow instructions
* Able to work as part of a team
* Basic Maths and English skills
* Must be 18 or over
What You’ll Get
* £13.50 per hour (£540 per week)
* 4-day working week (every Friday, Saturday & Sunday off)
* 24 days holiday + Bank Holidays (Christmas shutdown)
* No regular overtime or weekend working
