Summary
We are looking for a reliable Manual Handling Operative to join our shop-floor team.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Unloading sheet metal from assigned beds using the appropriate tools
Handling, counting and sorting metal parts
* Supporting production operatives with day-to-day tasks
* Packing parts correctly for dispatch (boxes, bubble wrap and pallets)
* Keeping work areas and machinery clean and tidy (housekeeping duties)
* Recycling cardboard, plastic and other materials
* Following Health & Safety procedures at all times
* Completing basic paperwork when required
What We’re Looking For
* Willingness to learn and follow instructions
* Good attention to detail
* Reliable and punctual
* Comfortable with physical work and manual handling
* Able to work as part of a team
* Basic Maths and English skills
* Applicants must be 18 years or over and living in Braintree or surrondings
Working Pattern
* 4 days per week
* 10-hour shifts, Monday to Thursday
* 1:30pm – midnight (30-minute unpaid break)

* £13.50 per hour
* 24 days’ holiday plus Bank Holidays (Christmas shutdown)
* No overtime or weekend working usually required and it's voluntary.
* Cycle to scheme & Tech scheme after passing probation
