Join the team as a Weight Management Advisor!
An exciting opportunity is available for enthusiastic, dynamic, and motivated Weight Management Advisor with experience and passion in delivering our community tier 2 Weight Management programme. This role will contribute to the development, provision, and coordination of our One You Adult Weight Management service for adults aged 18 plus and family Weight Management 4 to 18yrs, delivered across Cheshire East.
This community-based, multi component service brings together a range of different programmes, supporting residents to be a healthy weight. The service offers a personalised package for adults and families, with a focus on those who need support to lose and maintain a healthy weight, through in-person, remote and digital interventions.
You will be responsible for leading the programme and team, providing high-quality person-centred care and working within a multi-disciplinary lifestyle team. You will provide expert nutrition advice and delivery, underpinned by a solid knowledge of the principles of nutrition, behaviour change and physical activity. You will support adults and families across Cheshire East, to make and maintain health related behaviour changes.
You must hold a Level 3 Nutrition qualification.
Full training and shadowing will be provided once you start in the role.
Salary: £26,431.87 pro rata per annum
Contracted roles follow a three point grading structure, with the opportunity to advance annually through the PDR (Performance and Development Review) process.
Location : Cheshire East
This post will require some travel accross Cheshire East.
Hours: 14.5 Hours
