SEN Teaching Assistant - Year 1 (Full Time)

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work full time in a Year 1 class within a mainstream primary school in Penarth, starting after Easter.
This role will involve providing 1:1 support for a pupil with additional learning needs, helping them to access the curriculum and remain engaged in classroom activities. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to deliver tailored support, encourage positive behaviour, and create a supportive learning environment.
The ideal candidate will be patient, proactive, and confident supporting young learners who may require additional guidance both academically and emotionally. Previous experience working with SEN or in a primary school setting would be highly beneficial.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
