Primary Teacher QTS – Wigton
Humly is recruiting a Primary Teacher QTS to join a primary school on a temporary basis.
This is a full-time role starting 13/04/2026 and continuing until 17/07/2026. The role would suit an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher experienced in upper primary, ideally Year 6, who is passionate about supporting pupils as they prepare for their transition to secondary school.
What You’ll Be Doing
Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum
Assess and monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching accordingly
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives
Provide targeted support for pupils to achieve their potential
What You’ll Bring
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching upper primary, ideally Year 6
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively
A genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential
Pay
Non-AWR: £120+ per day
