My son is 19 years old, with very limited communication and learning disabilities, with autism & hyperactivity. You would be working as part of a small team where training would be provided, including a talk tools programme & a behavioural support programme which my son has had since he was 2 years old.He enjoys swimming, walking, and gym, which he could access more often with the help of a support worker. We are also looking for someone to help with his bedtime routine of showering and teeth cleaning, and evening/overnight care. We live in north Leeds in the Alwoodley area of LS17.This role would suit somebody who is quite active themselves, and is extremely patient and calm and has some childcare experience. Car driver preferred but not essential. 12 -16 hours per week, flexible, to be discussed/agreed. £14 per hour.Driving licence preferred by not essential.We look forward to hearing from you!
